Car accident, from which two persons were injured, occurred last night in Larnaca.
66 year old drunk driver injured two pedestrians last night in Larnaca . According to a Police report at 11.45 last night two people aged 38 years old and 42 years old were dragged and injured by a car.
The two pedestrians were transported by ambulance to Larnaca General Hospital .The 38 year old was then transferred to Nicosia General Hospital both the pedestrians conditions are described as serious.
The 66 year old driver was arrested and detained being under the influence of alcohol 74mg instead of 22mg which is the limit.
Just make it a law like if you drive, no alcohol!
I have no sympathies to anyone driving while impaired………they should lose their licence to drive, and suffer serious consequences. Did this drunk driver for one moment think of what he could do to someone else ? ( obviously in hurting these two pedestrians….) much less himself? Did he not stop to think for one moment…… i lost a parent to a drunk driver….who got off scott free…
