President Demetris Christofias and Turkish Cypriot leader Dervis Eroglu will meet again on Tuesday, August 23, in the framework of direct talks for a Cyprus solution, following a brief summer break.

According to a UN announcement, the meeting will take place in the morning, at the Chief of Missions’ residence in the United Nations Protected Area of Nicosia.

The last meeting, scheduled for August 5, was cancelled at the request of the Greek Cypriot negotiating team. The request was accepted both by the UN and the Turkish Cypriot team.
