A family of three from Britain, a man and a woman aged 50 years and their 30-year-oldĀ  son, have been arrested by police in Paralimni in connection with alleged possession and distribution of drugs.
Police say the family seems to have turned their apartment in Paralimni into a packing station and distribution centre. Dozens of small packages containing hashish totalling 500 grams were found.
In addition, police found five cannabis plants growing.
The three Britons who live permanently in cyprus, were arrested and are expected to be brought before the district court of Famagusta today.
