CYPRUS Airways (CY) and Virgin Atlantic agreed yesterday signed a code-sharing agreement enabling CY customers to fly to cities in the USA.

Tickets for New York, Boston and Los Angeles (from and to Larnaca Airport) are already on sale, CY said.

Cyprus Airways customers will be able to fly from London, Heathrow to the USA destinations of New York, Boston and Los Angeles on Virgin’s aircraft while Virgin Atlantic customers will be able to use Cyprus Airways’ flights to and from London and Larnaca.

“Passengers can enjoy the comfort of only one security check and luggage weigh-in, whether the journey starts in Cyprus or else the USA,” an announcement from Cyprus Airways read.
