Twins Anna and Sophia Eleftheriou, 18, both achieved one A* and two As. Both sisters attend Highams Park Voluntary Aided School in North East London.

Anna, (pictured above) who plans to study French at Oxford, said: “I am very very happy because it is what I was predicted.

“My sister and I opened our letters at the same time and we were so happy when we realised we had got what we wanted.

“It would have been the worst thing if one of us failed and the other passed.”

STUDENTS at Chancellor’s School in Brookmans Park are celebrating, after it was revealed this morning (Thursday) their A-level pass rate was 99 per cent.
