According to a statement by the Department of Electrical and Mechanical Services Department, 37 ambulances are being made and delivered to Cyprus by a French company. The total cost of the ambulances comes to 3,740,156 euros.  Cyprus have already received 13 ambulances, another 15 ambulances will be delivered in September this year and nine in early 2012.

 The  37 ambulances, nine are  four-wheel drive and 28 with two-wheel drive. Thirty-two ambulances, yellow, are intended to cover the needs of the Ministry of Health and five Green colour, covering the needs of the Ministry of Defence.
