The Sun today reports that new X Factor judge Tulisa Contostavlos had a “frightening confrontation” with a man auditioning for the show yesterday.

The scary incident took place after a singing wannabe, who the paper brands “a tattooed yob” reportedly lunged at the N-Dubz singer after she halted his X Factor audition and criticised his vocal performance.

Security staff were forced to intervene when the man named as George Gerasimou a Cypriot living in London squared up to the new judge and hurled abuse at her….we wonder why Louis Walsh of Gary Barlow didn’t step in…

The shocked 10,000-strong audience at London’s O2 arena could only watch in horror as 19 year old Gerasimou moved towards Tulisa and called her a “scumbag”.

The audition was not Gerasimou’s first shot at fame either. The fame hungry singer behaved just as badly in 2009 when he auditioned for the ITV show, throwing his microphone and telling Simon Cowell to “shut up.”

This time, he told the judges he was there to “redeem” himself, but as he began singing Ne-Yo’s hit Give Me Everything, he jumped down off the stage and walked behind Tulisa shortly after she raised her hand to stop the audition. As audience members booed, he moved towards her and angrily said, “Why did you stop the music?”

As producers ran towards the threatening wannabe, Tulisa said: “I have heard enough.”

He then moved towards her again, shouting, “You’re just a scumbag from Camden replacing Cheryl on the panel.”

Tulisa replied, “Get back and stop invading my space.”

She then added, “I am really proud of what I have achieved. If you don’t like it, why did you come down today?”

Gerasimou’s friend then ran to the stage and also started shouting at the judges.

As he was escorted off stage, Gerasimou stuck up his finger to the panel.

An insider said, “He really squared up to Tulisa. Staff had to intervene to tell him to get back on the stage. It was pretty hairy.”
