TWO ARMED robbers stole €7,000 from a Nicosia bank yesterday morning, police said.

USB bank in Pallouriotissa was targeted at 9.30am by two hooded men wearing crash helmets. Pointing hunting rifles at bank employees, the duo managed to secure €7,000 in cash and then escaped on a high-powered motorbike.

Police said they had no information regarding the men’s nationality or if they spoke during the heist.

Nicosia CID is investigating.
