Cyprus is hosting today Flame of Hope, the Flame of the Special Olympics World Games ATHENS 2011.

The Police Chief said that before the games, police torch bearer from all over the world, performing Torchlight, carrying the Olympic flame in order to sensitize the public.
”The torch, known as ‘Final Leg’, organized by the International Federation of International Law Enforcement Torch Run. ”The establishment of the League in 1981, remains one of the most important social activities of the Police worldwide. From 1981 until today, the Association has attracted 370 million dollars for this purpose.
