Moreover, Turkish Cypriot daily Haberdar (21.06.11) refers to the church of Panayia Kanakaria in occupied Lythrangomi village and reports that the bell of this church has also been stolen. The paper recalls that the mosaics of the church were stolen and sold abroad. Haberdar argues that a guard is needed for the church, so that the tourists who visit it to be able to enter inside.
