A total of 2,000 police officers will be mobilized to assist in the smooth conduct of the Parliamentary elections next Sunday. There will be Police at all Polling stations to keep law and order.

A meeting was held at the Police Headquarters chaired by Chief of Police Michael Papageorgiou, who will have overall supervision of the operation and with the assistance of the Assistant Chief of Operations who will coordinate from the crisis room based in the Headquarters and be able to givel instructions to the Heads of Provincial Police and the Governor of M.M.A.D.
