Peter Andre has revealed that he has come up with a “great idea” for his new children’s books.

The singer previously confirmed his plans to write fiction last year. At the time he told fans that his first story would be titled The Strawberry Barbecue.

“I had a meeting with my book publishers last week,” Andre said in his latest New magazine column. “I can’t say too much but I’m working on some children’s books and I can’t wait until you can read them.”

He added: “We’ve come up with a great idea – I think they’re going to be fab.”
