Its getting ridiculous  there is an increase in these kind of attacks in Cyprus. Two masked men broke into an apartment at 2am while the 63-year old owner was asleep on a couch and robbed him of his money and mobile phone at knifepoint.
In the end they made off with his car which was parked outside.
According to the victim, one of the men put the knife to his throat and asked for his money.
He said they beat him on various parts of the body when he resisted and he gave them €2,500. As they left they also took his mobile phone.
The victim was taken to Larnaca General Hospital where he was treated for injuries to the right arm, the chest and the face.
