Haringey Hawks played with passion in the first game against finalist favourites Newham All Stars in the England Basketball National U14 boys semi-fina in Sheffield , but  narrowly lost by 6 points. However, despite their disappointment, Hawks went on to secure a third place decisive win against Greenhouse Pioneers. Final score Haringey Hawks 69 Greenhouse Pioneers 53.

The team, led by London Cypriot  team Captain Antony Distras were presented Bronze Medals by England Basketball.  A high benchmark has been set by this club in their first season.  They went up against the top Basketball teams in the country and held their own, despite being the smallest club and wearing a borrowed kit.  Hawks are currently looking for sponsors to enable the purchase of a new kit.
