Britain’s Queen Elizabeth reportedly said she does not want Turkey in the European Union for a  long time.
According to the Daily Telegraph, this was allegedly said during a reception that was given for Christmas at Buckingham Palace where a lot of  MPs and former  Ministers were present. Here the Queen overheard a Conservative MP and his wife say that the Queen was a supporter of Turkey.

”The Queen immediately said: ‘that she and  Philip visited Turkey recently and said the people were nice. ‘ The Queen, meanwhile said: ‘The EU had too many members with 28 member countries. ”  Someone said that in fact 27 countries, but hoped that Turkey would join soon.

So the Queen said: ‘Oh!  We do not want Turkey to join for a long time”’.
