PAOK will be hosting Panathinaikos and Olympiakos Volou will visit AEK in the first round of the Super League playoffs, according to the draw conducted on Friday.

The post-season process to select Greece’s second representative to the Champions League, after champions Olympiakos, and its teams to enter the Europa League will start on May 8, with two rounds of games every week up to May 25.

The Athens derby between Panathinaikos and AEK is scheduled for May 11.

Panathinaikos are entering the play-offs with three points, AEK with one, while PAOK and Olympiakos Volou start without points.

“It is our obligation to Panathinaikos’s history to chase the top spot,” said the club’s coach, Jesualdo Ferreira, as his counterpart at AEK, Manolo Jimenez argued that “we are looking at the Cup final for now and then we shall think about the play-offs.”
