Cypriot skeet shooter George Achilleos is currently first in the world ranking of the International Shooting Sport Federation .

After securing the 5th place at the World Cup in Beijing, George  climbed to the first place. Antonis Andreou another Cypriot who won the gold at Beijing is ranked 4th

Achilleos climbed for the first time to the first place in 2007. In May 2010, he  again held the first place.
