A delegation from the France- Cyprus inter-parliamentary friendship group of the French Senate arrives Sunday in Cyprus for a visit at the invitation of Cyprus House of Representatives.

The delegation comprises President of the Inter inter-parliamentary friendship group Marc Massion and two Vice-Presidents, Senators Jean-Patrick Courtois and Simon Sutour, accompanied by Executive Secretary of the Group Bruno Ferrant,.

According to an official announcement, during their stay, the French senators will be received by the President of the House of Representatives Marios Garoyian and have separate meetings with President of the Cyprus – France inter-parliamentary friendship group in the Cyprus Parliament and President of the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs Averof Neophytou as well as members of the Committee.

The delegation will also have a meeting with Foreign Minister Markos Kyprianou.

During their visit, the French senators will visit the ceasefire line in Nicosia and the Anthropological Laboratory, where they will have a meeting with the member of the Committee on Missing Persons Christophe Girod. They will also visit the border region of Dherynia and Lefkara, where they will have meetings with the Deputy Mayor of Famagusta Andreas Shiopahas and Deputy Mayor of Lefkara Byron Argyrides.
