Cyprus Police reported 79 citizens and 6 premises for violations of COVID-19 measures in a total of 9,975 checks during the last 24 hours island-wide.
 
A Police press officer told the Cyprus News Agency that in Nicosia 2,534 checks were carried out and 16 citizens were reported. In Limassol the Police booked 28 citizens and 2 establishments after 2,654 checks.
 
In Larnaka the Police conducted 1,231 checks and fined 9 citizens.
 
In Paphos 7 citizens and 3 establishments were fined in a total of 1,435 checks. In Famagusta the checks were 982 and 18 citizens and 1 establishment were booked. In Morphou a total of 515 checks were carried out with zero fines.

Furthermore, the Traffic Department carried out 603 checks and fined one citizen and the Cyprus Port & Marine Police carried out 21 checks with no reports.
