The Council of Ministers convenes on Wednesday, January 27, to take decisions regarding the de-escalation of restrictive measures for COVID-19 and the decisions will be announced early in the afternoon, duirng a press conference, by the Minister of Health Constantinos Ioannou.
 
The meeting of Council of Ministers starts at 9.30 in the morning and the press conference by Constantinos Ioannou is scheduled for 12.30. Along with the Minister of Health will be the Head of the Advisory Scientific Committee for coronavirus, Constantinos Tsioutis.
 
Ioannou will present to the Council the de-escalation strategy of restrictive measures, which was developed by the competent inter-ministerial Committee with the assistance of the Technical Committee. The de-escalation will be gradual and will follow a specific plan.
