The music show Spiti Me To MEGA, launched during lockdown earlier this year, returned to the Greek TV channel with a special tribute.

To Kalitero Paidi, Yiannis Ploutarchos treated viewers to three hours of music, performing in addition to his own hits, songs by other artists.

Guest performer on the show was Greek Cypriot composer George Theofanous; together they presented unforgettable Greek songs from the past; tracks given by Theofanous to Evdriki and Natasa Theodoridou, songs that no one expected to hear from the voice of Yiannis Ploutarchos, but not surprisingly, wonderfully interpreted by him!

A part of the beautiful music journey was dedicated to Giannis Poulopoulos. Clearly moved by the recent death of the legendary singer, Ploutarchos paid tribute by performing hits by the late artist which have left their mark on the Greek music scene.

Honouring the younger generation of Greek performers, Ploutarchos invited Penny Baltatzi from the Piraeus Municipal Theatre, to the stage.

Together they performed the renowned Marinella hit Pali Tha Klapso before Penny was left alone to perform an exotic blend of modern hits and classic numbers.
