Cyprus Foreign Minister, Nikos Christodoulides, has tested negative for the coronavirus after one of his close associates tested positive. Christodoulides remains in self-isolation since Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Cyprus News Agency (CNA) has learned that Christodoulides will undertake two more COVID-19 tests. The positive case concerns one of the members of the Cypriot delegation that had traveled to Athens for the trilateral meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Cyprus, Greece and Israel that took place there on Tuesday. The Minister’s associate tested positive for the coronavirus when she undertook the test at the airport upon their return to Cyprus on Tuesday evening.  
 
Following that, Christodoulides and the other two members of the delegation who were traveling with the person who tested positive went into self-isolation.
