Christos Savva Christou

Peristeronopigi, Famagusta, Cyprus

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of our Dad, Bappou and Great Bappou Christos Savva Christou who passed away on Thursday 3rd September a day after his 90th Birthday.

He leaves behind his six children Agni, Despo, Bambos, Kay, Liz and Andrew, along with 15 Grandchildren and 8 Great-grandchildren.  His loving wife Evdokia Savva passed away in 2007.

He was a proud and an extremely intelligent man, who loved his family dearly.

He served in the British Army and was stationed in Egypt in the 1950s.

He left Cyprus in 1968 to start a new life with his family in England. In his latter years he was lovingly cared for by his wife Lucky.

He leaves us with loving memories and many funny stories.

His funeral will take place on Tuesday 22nd September at St Nectarios, Battersea.  He will be laid to rest at Bandon Hill Cemetery, Wallington.

With great regret due to the current restrictions in place, funeral attendance will be for immediate family only
