DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT 

Andreas Christou Vassiliades (Zittis) 

(from Silikou, Lemesos) 

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather and great-grandfather, who passed away peacefully on the 15th of June 2020 at the age of 89 years and 11 months. Andreas was born in Silikou, Lemesos on the 12/07/1930 and later lived in Lemesos before coming to London in 1955. He leaves behind his wife Chrystalla Christou, who loves and misses him dearly. In the 65 years they were together, they never left each others side. He also leaves behind his five children; Myro and husband Ben, Kyriaki and husband Michael, Chrysoulla and husband Geoff, Christakis and wife Marina, and Anastasia and husband Chris. He also leaves behind his 17 grandchildren and his 7 great-grandchildren. 

Andreas was a very loving person who worked extremely hard throughout his life, making sure his family had the best of everything they needed. He was a very generous man who would always open his home to his family and friends if they needed a place to stay. We all love and miss him very much. His memory will live on within us all and will never be forgotten. 

The funeral will take place on the 16th July, 13:00pm at the church of St. Marys, Wood Green and the burial will follow at The City Of London Cemetery at 14:30pm. Due to the current circumstances with COVID-19, only immediate family may be allowed to attend, but this may be subject to change. A memorial service will be arranged by the family when it is safe to do so, for all those who wish to pay their respects to our late beloved father.

† ΑΓΓΕΛΙΑ ΘΑΝΑΤΟΥ- ΚΗΔΕΙΑ Aντρέας Χρίστου Βασιλιάδης (Ζιττής)

Με μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε το θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας συζύγου, πατέρα, παππού και προπάππου, Αντρέας Χρίστου Βασιλιάδης ο οποίος απεβίωσε στις 15 Ιoυνίου 2020 σε ηλικία 89 χρονώνν και 11 μηνών. Ο Αντρέας γεννήθηκε στην Συλίκου στις 12.07.1930 και ζούσε στην Λεμεσό πριν έρθει στο Λονδίνο το 1955. Ο Αντρέας αφήνει τη σύζυγό του Χρυστάλλα την οποία αγαπούσε και θα της λείψει πάρα πολύ, καθώς 65 χρόνια ήταν μαζί και δεν άφησαν ποτέ ο ένας τον άλλο μόνο του. Αφήνει επίσης τα 5 παιδιά του: Mυρώ και σύζυγο Μπέν, Κυριακή και σύζυγο Μιχάλη, Χρυσούλλα και σύζυγο Τζέφ, Χρηστάκη και σύζυγο Μαρίνα, Αναστασία και σύζυγο Κρίς, 17 εγγόνια και 7 δισέγγονα. Ο Aντρέας ήταν ένα πολύ στοργικό άτομο που δούλεψε σκληρά όλη του τη ζωή για να βεβαιωθεί ότι η οικογένεια του είχε ότι χρειαζόταν. Ήταν ένας γενναιόδωρος άνθρωπος και το σπίτι του ήταν ανοικτό στους συγγενείς και φίλους. Όλοι τον αγαπάμε και θα μας λείψει πολύ, η μνήμη του θα ζει πάντοτε μέσα μας και δεν θα ξεχαστεί ποτέ. Η κηδεία του θα γίνει στις 16 Ioυνίου 2020, στις 1:00μμ στην εκκλησία της Παναγίας στο Wοοd Green και η ταφή του στο κοιμητήριο του City of London στις 2:30μμ. Λόγω κορωνοϊού μόνο η στενή οικογένεια μπορεί να παρευρεθεί (αν δεν αλλάξουν τα μέτρα) Όταν τα πράγματα έρθουν σε ομαλότητα, η οικογένεια θα διοργανώσει μνημόσυνο, όπου θα μπορούν όσοι θέλουν να τιμήσουν την μνήμη του πατέρα μας.
