All of our staff are now back in the office and we have implemented social distancing measures and are following the Government Safety Guidelines to ensure the safety of our team. The office if still restricted to staff only and not to the public without an appointment.

We have implemented and are following the below safety measures and the Governments guidelines. The good news is business was consistent throughout lockdown and we have seen a significant uptick in enquiries over the last few weeks, so it is great to have the whole team back doing what we do best.”

Measures for all Clients

• We ask that all clients call and make an appointment

• Discussions will take place outside the office where possible

• We request that you respect social distancing measures at all times and remain one metre from your Estate Agent when an in person meeting is being carried out

Measures for Viewings

• We will continue to offer virtual and/or video viewings in the first instance wherever possible. Physical viewings are taking place again, and our staff members will wear a mask.
• Clients are asked to make their own way to the property – the David Astburys team are unable to offer transport – and try to avoid public transport.
• Physical viewings must be limited to a maximum of two people from the same household.
• Prior to the viewing you will be asked by the David Astburys agent to confirm that your household members are not showing signs of having the virus.
• Social distancing rules apply so please remain one metre away from the agent at all times.
• You will be asked to wash your hands before entering a property (or use your own hand sanitiser), that you wear a mask and gloves if possible and not to touch anything whilst in the property.
• The occupier of the property will leave all internal doors open and vacate the property.

Measures for Property Valuations

• Please note that we continue to offer virtual and/or video market appraisals and can continue to value properties without physically entering them if you prefer.
• If we do visit a property to value it, social distancing measures apply.
• We shall wear facemasks and gloves throughout the appointment.
• Before we visit, please ensure the property is well ventilated with doors left open to avoid the necessity to touch anything.

What we need from our clients

If you or a member of your household fall into any of the below categories we may not be able to carry out or may have to rearrange an in person meeting. Please make us aware if:

• You or a member of the household fall into the ‘vulnerable category’.
• You or a member of your household are displaying any symptoms or Covid-19.
• You or a member of your household has been in contact with anyone or visited any place that could have exposed you to Covid-19.
