Cypriot authorities have announced that the UK may enter Cyprus’ B list on August 1, which would mean that passengers from the UK will be able to visit the island from that date onwards, provided they have a negative PCR test [not older than 72hrs] upon entry. We are aware of difficulties in acquiring a PCR test in the UK and have raised the issue with the Cypriot government.
We are continuing our discussions and, given Cypriot authorities reassess their evaluation on a weekly basis, we hope to hear more news next week. We appreciate this makes travel planning more difficult. We will update our Travel Advice and social media when we receive official information.
