DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT
GREGORY GREGORIOU (London/Hemel Hempstead)
We are deeply saddened to announce the death of our beloved GREGORY GREGORIOU who lost his fight with COVID-19 on 20 April 2020 aged just 47. A loving and loyal husband, son and brother, Greg will always be remembered for being a wonderfully kind, quiet, gentle and yet determined man, who gave unconditional love and selfless support to us all. He leaves behind his devoted wife Barbara Charalambous-Gregoriou, his parents Maroulla and Kyriakos (from Eptakomi, Famagusta), sister Elena, brothers George and Andre, nieces, nephews, god-children and many other family and friends.
Greatly missed by us all. Respected by his family and friends. Ever eternal in our hearts. Gone but never forgotten.
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 3 June 2020 at 10.00am at St Mary’s Greek Orthodox Cathedral, Wood Green followed by a burial at New Southgate Cemetery. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the funeral will be for immediate family only. At a later date, when permitted, we will hold a memorial for Greg so that our extended family and friends can help us to celebrate his life and honour his memory.

Με μεγάλη θλίψη αναγγέλλουμε το θάνατο του αγαπημένου μας Γρηγόρη Γρηγορίου από κορωνοϊό, στις 20 Απριλίου 2020 ένας πιστός και στοργικός σύζυγος, υιός και αδελφός, θα θυμόμαστε τον Γρηγόρη για την καλοσύνη, την ευγένεια του αλλά και την αποφασιστικότητα του, την ανιδιοτελή αγάπη του που έδινε σε όλους μας. Αφήνει την αφοσιωμένη σύζυγό του Βαρβάρα Χαραλάμπους Γρηγορίου, τους γονείς του Μαρούλλα και Κυριάκο (από Επτακώμη, Αμμόχωστο), αδελφή: Έλενα, αδέλφια: Γιώργο και Αντρέ, ανίψια, τα βαφτιστήρια του, συγγενείς και φίλους. Θα μας λείψει πολύ, εκτιμάτο από οικογένεια και φίλους, πάντοτε θα είναι στις καρδιές μας, έφυγε μα δεν θα ξεχαστεί. Η κηδεία θα γίνει την Τετάρτη 3 Ιουνίου 2020 10:00μμ στην εκκλησία της Παναγίας στο Wοοd Green και η ταφή στο κοιμητήριο του Southgate. Λόγω της τρέχουσας κατάστασης της πανδημίας του Κορωνοϊού, μόνο οι στενοί συγγενείς του εκλιπόντος, θα μπορέσουν να παρακολουθήσουν την νεκρώσιμο ακολουθία στην εκκλησία και στο κοιμητήριο. Όταν ξεπεραστεί η πανδημία και έρθουν όλα σε ομαλότητα θα οργανώσουμε μνημόσυνο όπου θα καλέσουμε τους συγγενείς και φίλους για να τιμήσουμε την μνήμη του, όπως του αρμόζει.

I will never forget the day that George introduced me to Greg at Harrow High School so many years ago. I am very sorry for your loss and honoured to have known him.
