The Church will ensure that government measures are strictly implemented, Archbishop Chrysostomos II of Cyprus assured the President of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades.

According to a written statement by Deputy Government Spokesman Panayiotis Sentonas, the President spoke on Monday on the phone with the Head of the Church of Cyprus.

During the exchange, Archbishop Chrysostomos assured the President of Cyprus that the Church will ensure that measures and protocols, formulated by the Health Ministry, are strictly implemented as people are allowed to enter churches again after measures relax.

Only ten worshipers will be allowed into the Church at any one time and it will be one leaves one goes in. The wedding and funeral restrictions will still apply.
