† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT

Spyros Papakyriacou

(From Rizokarpaso, Cyprus)

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing away of our beloved dad, Spyros Papakyriacou, who died on the evening of 27th April, at home in London, with his three sons around him, after bravely battling with kidney disease and a blood disorder for many years. Spyros was born in Rizokarpasso, Cyprus, on 18/11/1932, and having just lost his beloved wife Elpiniki on the 1st April, he now leaves behind 3 inconsolable sons, Andros, Evangelos and Marios, a daughter in law, 3 grand- children, a sister, 2 brothers and extended family & friends. Spyros was a kind, generous man whose family meant everything to him, someone who was always happy with the simple pleasures of life. A very sociable person with many friends and always with a lovely sense of humour. Our father was much loved and respected and will be painfully missed by all. May he rest in everlasting peace.

His funeral will be joint with our mother’s funeral and will take place on 6th May 2020, at 10.30 am, at St. Mary’s Cathedral, Trinity Road, London N22, followed by a joint burial at New Southgate Cemetery. They were truly a loving couple and they now leave together. The family’s pain and loss is immeasurable.

Due to the current Coronavirus pandemic, only immediate family will be able to attend the church service and cemetery. We know your love and thoughts will be with us. There will be a joint memorial, when hopefully this pandemic crisis has ended.

† ΑΓΓΕΛΙΑ ΘΑΝΑΤΟΥ – ΚΗΔΕΙΑ

Σπύρος Παπακυριακού (από τo Ριζοκάρπασο, Κύπρος)

Με μεγάλη θλίψη σας ενημερώνουμε για τον θάνατο του πολυαγαπημένου μας Πατέρα, αδελφός και παππούς, Σπύρος Παπακυριακού, 87 ετών. Απεβίωσε στις 27 Απριλίου 2020 στο σπίτι του, στο Λονδίνο, περιτριγυρισμένος από τους τρεις γιούς του. Η κηδεία του θα γίνει μαζί με την πολυαγαπημένη του γυναίκα Ελπινίκη που απεβίωσε και αυτή στις 1 Απριλίου. Η κηδεία θα είναι την Τεταρτη 6 Μαιου, ώρα 10:30 από την εκκλησιά της Παναγίας (St Mary’s, Trinity Rd, Wood Green , London N22 ) και θα ακολουθήσει η ταφή τους στο κοιμητήριο του New Southgate Cemetery. Ο εκλιπών κατάγετο από το Ριζοκάρπασσο της Κύπρου και αφήνει 3 παιδιά, Άντρο, Ευάγγελο, και Μάριο, αδελφή Γιαννούλα, αδέλφια Ανδρέα και Κυριάκο, νύφη και τρία εγγόνια. Η τελετή θα πραγματοποιηθεί σε πολύ κλειστό οικογενειακό κύκλο λόγω των περιοριστικών μέτρων για τον Κορωνοϊό. Ξέρουμε ότι η αγάπη και οι σκέψεις σας θα είναι μαζί μας. Όταν ξεπεραστεί η πανδημία και ολά έρθουν σε κανονική πραγματικότητα, θα οργανώσουμε μνημόσυνο, όπου θα καλέσουμε όλους τους συγγενείς και φίλους.
