Theo Papapavlou sadly passed away yesterday afternoon 3rd April 2020 at  the age of 72.

Theo Papapavlou leaves behind his wife Penny and two children Michael and Helen.

Theo was born 6th October 1947 in Panayia, Paphos, Cyprus.

He attended Panayia Elementary School, Paphos Gymnasium and Waltham Forest College where he studied accountancy.and opened his own accountancy practice Theo & Co Accountants and Auditors which he later sold to Kounnis and Partners where he became a consultant.

Theo was also the Group Chief finance officer of Power Snooker that holds snooker events all over the world that includes also on the board Costas Joannou, and famous boxing promoter Frank Warren Mike Gruber and Theo’s son Michael.

He was a treasurer of EDEK UK and a member of the Secretariat of the National Federation of Cypriots in the UK.

He was also President of the UK Association of Resistance Fighters, who defended the Republic of Cyprus against EOKA B and the Greek military Junta.

    So upset to hear this very sad news, Theo was my accountant for over 30 years a really lovely man and a real gentleman, he will be sorely missed. My most sincere condolences to his family.
