† DEATH ANNOUNCEMENT 

Fred Lucas aged 85, passed away after a short illness on 12th April 2020. Beloved husband of Maria (from Famagusta), father of Steven, Carole and Andrew. Much loved Pappou to Daniel,Isobell, Rebecca,Michael,Zoe and Theo. Fred was much loved by his family, friends and by all those who knew him. A hugely popular, fun, kind-hearted and generous man, Fred will be sorely missed and fondly remembered. In the light of the current pandemic, the funeral will be restricted to a limited number of close family members, although a celebration of Fred’s life will be held at a later date. The family have requested donations (in lieu of flowers) to #HereForEachOther – a charity dedicated to supporting the physical and emotional wellbeing of NHS staff at this difficult time, as they continue to work hard to serve our communities.
