The leaders and representatives of Greek Cypriot and Turkish Cypriot political parties, participating in the bi-communal meetings at the Ledra Palace under the auspices of the Slovak Embassy, are invited to take part in a visit to the workshop of the Association of Bilingualism in Cyprus
 
According to the Slovak Embassy, the visit will take place on Wednesday, March 11, at 6 p.m. at the Home for Cooperation.
 
It is also noted that the Association intends to create conditions favourable to the learning of the two official languages, Greek and Turkish, in both the Turkish and Greek Cypriot communities, and by this way to contribute to the efforts for peace and reconciliation in Cyprus. 
 
One of the fundamental purposes of the Association is to put an emphasis on the elimination of the “language barrier” that constitutes a problem for the communication between the two communities, in order to contribute to the efforts for peace, trust and reconciliation in Cyprus, it is added.
