Haringey Borough got back to winning with a late strike by Anthony McDonald which ended Bognor Regis hopes of a win.
There was no goals in the first half
On 47 minutes Haringey took the lead. Georgios Aresti ran across the Bognor defence but he decided to shoot low and hard from outside the area beyond an outstretched Tangara to nestle it into the bottom right corner.
Bognor got back into the game. Tommy Leigh’s left sided corner kick from the left found Whyte who headed in the equaliser as he peeled off his marker in the heart of the box before nodding it into the net on 61 minutes.Scott Durajaiye had to come off due to injury to be replaced by Anthony McDonald on 70 minutes.
On 82 minutes it was good play by Michael-Percil saw him go to ground under a challenge by Puemo but the referee waved play on before Anthony McDonald slammed it home inside the near post beating Tangara with his low strike.
It was a game that could have gone either way and in the end Haringey got the win but only after hard-fought performance from both sides.
