AEK U11 v Oakhill Tigers. Fantastic performance from AEK who continued their good run. AEK were dominant throughout, defending resolutely, attacking with intent and finishing well. As a team they showed good tactical discipline and competed well with some great movement and passing on a heavy and muddy pitch.

U17s AEK Youth FC (3) v Hadley Rangers FC (3) First game of the New Year/Decade and since the beginning of December, due to the ongoing wet weather. With a new formation in place, we began the game brightly and opened the scoring in the first 15 minutes. The opposition rallied and managed to force an equaliser shortly afterwards, but we still continued to apply further pressure. This forced a number of errors in their defence and we scored two quick goals in succession before half time. We started the second half on the front foot but after a few early misses we got tired and injuries started to set in, which resulted in us conceding two sloppy goals to finish the match as a well earned draw. Alexandra Park West (2)

The good start to 2020 continued with a win against Alexander Park West in what was a very competitive game containing some great football from both sides. AEK went in 1-0 at half time, but then found themselves 2-1 behind with 15 mins to go. Credit to the boys for staying positive and sticking to playing good creative possession football. It paid off with the final score 3-2.
