Police are appealing for help to identify a man following a sexual assault onboard a bus in Enfield.

At approximately 07:00hrs on Friday, 3 May, a woman was travelling on the Route 279 bus along Turkey Street when a she was approached by a man who rubbed her upper leg before sitting next to her.

The man then attempted to engage her in conversation.

The man is described as white, aged in his late 50s, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build with grey/black receding hair. He spoke with an Eastern European accent.

Anyone who recognises the man is asked to call officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command via 101.
