Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman reported she was raped in Greenford.

Officers were called at around 07:00hrs on Sunday, 3 November to reports of a woman with injuries on Costons Avenue, Greenford.

London Ambulance Service also attended and the woman, aged in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

She reported to officers that she had been raped by two men in Perivale Park.

The woman received treatment and is being supported by specialist officers.

Two males – no further details – have been arrested on suspicion of rape and both remain in custody.

Detectives continue to work to establish the sequence of events that led to the attack.

Anyone who saw or heard anything in the vicinity of Costons Avenue, Betham Road or the adjoining park area during the early hours of Sunday, 3 November, that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police via 101 or tweet @MetCC and quote CAD1873/3Nov.
