Live 4 Dancing Ballroom are proud winners of the Dance School of the Year 2019 – North London award by the Greater London Enterprise Awards.

The awards acknowledge talented and hardworking small and medium sized businesses whose efforts have yielded top class products and services for the diverse clientele found in London, as well as the institutions which support them.

The academy’s Creative Director and Ballroom Dance Teacher, Greek Cypriot Maria Kyriacou, told Parikiaki, “We’ve won amongst some really strong competitors and so this is a big achievement for us. We’d like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of the families and students who support our mission and share our passion and love for dancing. We are committed to excellence and innovation, and it is our promise to keep expanding our expertise and serve our clients in the best way possible.”

Live 4 Dancing is a place where students of all ages, shapes and sizes learn to Ballroom dance and perform. This is a studio where creativity, individuality and self-expression are encouraged and has a community of teachers and students who are passionate about the performing arts.

The academy strives to nurture and develop talent, celebrate the achievements of all students and inspire a love and appreciation of dance. It is committed to providing a safe and positive environment in which all students can feel empowered, comfortable and free to express themselves.

A structured class programme teaches the Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Quickstep in Ballroom, and the Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba, Jive, Paso Doble, Salsa and Bachata in Latin.

Children have the opportunity to take exams assessed by the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) and take part in performances twice a year.
