Saints go 10 games unbeaten this season St Panteleimon 4 Park View 2 (Katsikas, Oliveira, Nasai 2)

The Saints were firing well for most of this game. A free kick from captain Roberto Katsikas squeezed in to give the home side a lead. By half time it was three, with good goals from Aristotelli Nasai and Ray Oliveira. A slick wet pitch suited the Saints style of passing play. But some lack of concentration allowed Park View to get one back. 3-1. In the 65th minute Nasai scored again to give an extra cushion. But again a skilful and strong Park View side got another. 4-2. Park View had strong defenders and some skilful players and gave the Saints a decent game.

The Saints are now 10 points clear at the top of Spartan Division One. The goal difference is also an incredibly strong +30.

Another pleasing statistic that emerged on Sunday, is that in the whole of Step 6 of the National League System, in the whole of England, St Panteleimon are the 4th highest scorers in the country. 43 goals in 10 games is setting the pace. The Saints play Hillingdon Borough next Saturday 5th October, away.
