Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a fatal collision in Haringey.

Officers were called to Perth Road, N22 at 18:45hrs on Thursday, 10 October following reports of a road traffic collision.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) and the London Fire Brigade (LFB) also attended.

A car was found to have been involved in a collision with a motorcycle near the junction with Paisley Road.

Despite the efforts of officers, paramedics and members of the public, the motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.

Road closures have been put in place.

The driver of the car, who stopped at the scene, has been taken to hospital. Her injuries are not life-threatening.

She has not been arrested and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.

At this early stage officers are working to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
