Emmy nominated Greek American stand-up comedian Basile is returning to the Millfield Theatre this Sunday 2 October, courtesy of 1 to One Events Ltd, with a fresh show, as part of his The Greek Spice Boy Cometh UK tour.
Those who have seen Basile live in action will know that his speciality is simply making fun of the way he has been brought up Greek in America, which we Cypriots and Greeks in the UK can relate to! From family situations to whatever is happening around the world, and his characters and voices thrown in the mix, together with our favourite punchlines, a night of pure laughter is guaranteed!
And there’s more, warm up act for the show is none other than our local comedian Chris Marco K.
Basile has dedicated his UK tour, which takes him to Birmingham, Bristol, Beckenham, London and Nottingham, in memory of Pani Argyrou, a popular British-born Cypriot well known in London and the UK, who sadly passed away in 2018, aged 29.
Pani fundraised for and organised trips to the orphanage of Lyreio Children’s Institution, St. Anargyroi, Orthodox Village (Rafina, Greece) forming close bonds with the children there. The Orphanage was rebuilt after being nearly ruined in 1995, only to be badly damaged again in the 2018 fires. There will be a donation box for the Orphanage at all venues.
Few tickets remain for the tour…book yours now to avoid disappointment online at http://basileuk.ltbevents.com
