About last night…The Cyprus House in Australia (High Commission) was packed with Ambassadors-High Commissioners, colleagues, compatriots and friends of Cyprus. Thank you all for celebrating with us CY’s 59th birthday and sharing our joy. HC Mavrommatis said in her speech “2019 marked our 15th EU accession anniversary and while EU (and Australia) will never be the same without halloumi since…, we are truly grateful for the constructive exchanges with our EU partners. At the same time and since CY remains still occupied, we will push and strive for the reunification of our country”! For last night’s reception we chose to project the exhibition “Multi-Religious Cyprus”, which has attracted the attention and the great interest of our guests! An outstanding performance from our Adelaide youth dancers as well-thank you guys and gals. Happy birthday CY.
