Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses following a road traffic collision in north London.

Police were called at approximately 16:40hrs on Monday, 14 October to reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian on Hendon lane at the junction with Wickliffe Avenue and Arden Road, N3.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.

The 72-year-old pedestrian was taken to a central London hospital, where he remains in a critical condition.

The driver stopped at the scene. There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

Detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or was driving in the area at the time who may have dash cam footage
