Both Haringey Borough and Carshalton Athletic had the chance to move into third place in the BetVictor Isthmian League Premier Division last night- and both failed to take that chance, as the visitors to Coles Park and Colston Avenue had other ideas.

Borough had gone off the boil a little of late, with only one win from their last four- and now it’s only one from five, as Kingstonian got back to winning ways by taking all three points. Last season Borough won both matches against the K’s by an aggregate score of six goals to nil, but this years Kingstonian are made of sterner stuff, and Dan Hector got the only goal of the game ten minutes before the break.
