Detectives investigating a stabbing in Muswell Hill continue to appeal for witnesses to come forward.

Police were called to Fortis Green Road, N10 at 01:40hrs on Thursday, 31 October to a report of a stabbing.

The victim, a 21-year-old man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where his condition has now been assessed as stable.

A 22-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of GBH and is currently in police custody.

It is believed that both men were in a nearby residential premises before the stabbing took place.

Enquiries continue. Cordons remain in place at the scene.

Detective Inspector Paul Ridley from North Area CID is leading the investigation: “It is absolutely vital that any witnesses that saw the altercation come forward to my investigation team as a priority. There are a number of flats which overlook the location of the stabbing and I am convinced that people will be aware as to what has occurred. Additionally if you are in possession of any CCTV or dashcam footage I also need this presented to me.”
