Cypriot tennis player Petros Chrysochos won the ITF World Tennis Tour Edwardsville Futures in the United States, beating five American players in his first appearance.

According to the Cyprus Tennis Federation, this is the first professional title for Chrysochos since June 2018, when he had won the Futures in Winston Salem.

With his victory, Chrysochos has added 20 points to his personal scores in the world ATP ranking, which is expected to bring him close to No. 700.

Chrysochos is now working on improving his ranking, with an aim to compete in the Australian Open qualifiers.
