The Union of Cypriots in Britain (EKA) as always is organising an event to remember and condemn the treacherous fascist coup of 15th July 1974 and the barbaric Turkish invasion that followed on the 20th July 1974.

45 years have passed but the people of Cyprus are still suffering the horrific consequences of those events. Our island remains divided with the prospects of reunification getting slimmer with every day that passes.

We refuse to forget, we refuse to accept the status quo, we honour those who gave their lives, we aim to stop the misrepresentation of our history, we fight for the reunification of our country and for peace.

Join us on Wednesday 17 July 2019 at the Cypriot Community Centre (see attached leaflet. Cyprus needs us all.
