An 18-year-old man was arrested on Sunday night (July 7) on suspicion of two burglaries that happened in Mount Grace Road, Potters Bar.

Officers from Operation Scorpion in Hertsmere quickly identified the suspect and his vehicle with support from the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit.  He was arrested by uniformed officers in Cheshunt on Sunday driving the same vehicle.

The burglaries happened on June 19 at around 5.20am.

The man from Hertford has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
