Well known community photographer Alexios Gennaris was christened in 1967 by the then priest, Fr Chrysostomos. Fifty years later, he is photographing him during Easter services, saint days and clergy conferences. He was the head of the Greek School that he attended for 10 years and he said he was terrified of him. Now that he has got to know him he sees him as a gentle kind and honourable man.

Father Chrysostomos is now Auxiliary Bishop, His Grace Chrysostomos of Kyanea who was elected, and thus elevated, to Metropolitan of Helioupolis and Thira.
