The annual Palmers Green Shopping Carnival, organised by the Green Lanes Business Association, will take place this Saturday 15th June 2019 between 11am – 4pm.
The event will take place at Hazelwood Lane, Palmers Green, N13.
Present at the opening ceremony will be the Mayor of Enfield – Cllr Kate Anolue, Deputy Mayor Cllr Sabri Ozaydin, the Young Mayor – Okan Gurhan, the Young Deputy Mayor – Chistevie Ngoma, and Bambos Charalambous MP.
There will be performances throughout the day from the Hazelwood School Choir, Enfield Blaze Cheerleaders, Zumba (Sonia), lvaylo Lubopitko Bulgarian Dancing and Singing, Zimmerettes – Dancers, Greek music (Costas Oskis) and dancing, Hazelwood School Greek Dancers, Hornsey Ataturk Turkish Dancers, Belly Dancing (Samantha) and Polish Dancers.
Other entertainment acts in the Hazelwood Lane area are Punch & Judy, Circus Workshop Act, Caricaturist, Sea Cadets and fairground rides. There will also be mobile stilt walkers, Dhol drummers, a clown, cubs and scouts, face painting and henna.
Stalls in Hazelwood Lane include ‘Essential NRG Holistic Therapies’ – aromatherapy hand massages etc, ‘All your Party Needs’ – Sweets, Popcorn and Fruit Kebabs, ‘Time for Change Kids’ – slime making, ‘Jaramillo Café’ – Coffee and Coffee Beans, ‘The Cake Box London’ – sweet and savoury Greek pastries, ‘All Catering Services’ – tableware, BBQ – ‘Souvlaki Pro’, Sweet pastry and ‘Anastasia Lodge and Autumn Gardens’ – Care Homes advice.
A treasure hunt will take place with a top prize of a £50 voucher up for grabs. All you have to do is match the treasure box numbers to the 15 shops participating along Green Lanes and Aldermans Hill. 15 Runners up will win a gift!
