A murder investigation has been launched following a stabbing in Barnet.

Police were called at approximately 22:50hrs on Tuesday, 18 June to reports of a fight in Welbeck Road, Barnet.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found three men suffering stab injuries.

One man, aged in his 30s, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital – he was pronounced dead shortly after midnight.

The two other men – one aged in his 20s and one aged in his 30s – have been taken to hospital for treatment; at this time neither man’s condition is thought to be life threatening.

A crime scene remains in place.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command has been informed.

No arrests; enquiries continue.
